About Me

After watching a “really offensive” TV ad for Denny’s, which showed insulting and outdated images of old people, Lee Wade combined her experience as a writer and broadcaster and launched ZoomerNation as a vehicle to project positive images of 50+.

Wade began her career as a radio announcer in San Jose and Seattle, landing in L.A. as a writer at Radio & Records, the (then) bible of the music industry. Her career includes stints at ABC radio networks, dance and music reviewer for Knight-Ridder’s Pasadena Star News, and for the past 20 years she has owned an L.A. based events marketing agency.

Born in San Francisco, and raised in the South, Wade lives in Los Angeles.
